Description

:new: :new:

To be considered a pure-bred, a Cornelius Unicorn has to have the following things:
:star: At least one horn
:star: bi-coloured eyes or two-toned eyes
:star: spinal manes and heavy feathers
:star: at least one white-black personality horn

This means, that even if you breed a pure-bred to a dragon, a Friesian, or a dog, you can still have a pure-bred. It also means, that you can breed 2 pure-bred together, and have a half-bred.

The following treats are preferred, but not necessary to be considered a pure-bred. So in a Cornelius Unicorns Origin show, CUO that have these treats will be favoured:
:bulletgreen: Lion's manes and Front Manes
:bulletgreen: a Type; type 1, the drafts, or type 2, the lightbuilds

:new: new breed name! Cornelius Origin Unicorn
why a new breed name? Because the Cornelius Unicorn Family is getting an expansion! expect new breedsheets soon!
descendant breeds:
Cornelius Hippocamus
Cornelius Drákōn Equine

:bulletgreen: If you want an Cornelius Origin Unicorn, you are allowed to create them yourselves (this includes the creation of starter hybrids).
:bulletblack: However, you HAVE to show me and agree to send them to #Harpg-UOA. No further obligations. Free to use.

:bulletblue:---Eyes---:bulletblue:
A pure Corneluis Unicorn will always have bicolored eyes. Is is rather dominant; you'll find it in many crossbreeds.

:bulletblue:---Build---:bulletblue:

purebreds often have baroque heads. Some have straight heads. The types 2 can have Arabian heads, but they rarely do.

:bulletgreen:type 1:
The Cornelius Unicorn is usally heavy meduim (like a friesian) build or heavy.
They are good for Jumping, Dressage, endurance, rodeo's, but anything else u allow them in, will give u some fine resultes. Due of there mutations, they simply adust themselfs to what they want or need to be.

:bulletred:type 2:
The Cornelius Unicorn is light build. These are uncommon to rare.
They are good for Racing, Dressage, endurance, rodeo's, but anything else u allow them in, will give u some fine resultes. Due of there mutations, they simply adust themselfs to what they want or need to be.

:bulletblue:--Colors--:bulletblue:
Cornelius Unicorns Origin come in a rainbow of colors! Unnatural colors and markings are found just as frequently as the naturals ones. However, the manes (and spinal manes) will rarely be the same color as the the base coat. Even for the natural ones. It's rare for them.

:bulletblue:---horns& personality---:bulletblue:
the animal can be "pure" or "corropted".
pure= withe horn. corrupted= black horn.
For the list, see the breedsheet.

this can switch anytime in there life. Crossbreds usally don't have the abitly to swap color off the horn, they usally keep the color of the horn of there of there Corneluis unicorn parent, on the moment of conception. The horn will be visable in 2nd gen, almost always, even when crossed with a 'normal' horse. 3th gen horns are depended of what breed they are crossed with. fantasy breeds, will usally show the horn. The horn will rarly change color for the offspring, sometimes possible when crossed with fantasybreeds. This means, that friendly crossbreds, will sometimes have a black horn.

The horn can show up in later life, because the horse 'needs' it.

the color of the horn shows their character. A ' pure' will be very gentle, a lot of will-to-please, friendly, playish, paitent, and an exellent horse for little children to learn to ride on. the Corroped however, is 'evil', grumpy, bites often, and requires a skilled horsemen. A corruped Cornelius unicorn is very good for rodeo's, since they don't like having riders on there back.

The reason why there horn, and personalety changes, is usally due off mutations. these constant mutations allow them to survive in almost any area. (example: the father of Lady Fortune and Sir Chance)

The horn is slender, bown with a sharp point. The horn can be straight, or like a spiral.
males have a little, extra horn, right before there main horn. They use this to battle and win mares for them.

:bulletblue:---manes---:bulletblue:
the females tend to have longer hair and sometimes a manetip.
males have an extra horn, and never a manetip. (doesn't include crossbreds)

Their manes, that run from there neck to there back all the way to there tail(spinal manes). Both male as well as female have manes over there back. these spinal hairs can be long or short.

Some Cornelius unicorns have manes around there neck, and they resemble lion's manes (called Lion's Manes for that reason), and often have them run down to end of the ribs(front lock).

The manes will often have a different base color form the body hair. Body hair can have any color, and any marking. Paints, appaloosa's and fantasy&normal colors are common.

:bulletblue:---Hoofs---:bulletblue:
Strong, and they rarly need horse shoes. Due of mutations, they can adjust there growth of the hoofs. only in hard area's, where there isn't mutch food, and the Cornelius horse is weakend, it is needed to give them horse shoes.

the color can be any color. it can be one color, or 4 different colors. More then one color per hoef is also possible, sometimes even wanted. more then 1 color per hoef, and never the same color, is prefered.

:bulletblue:---mutations---:bulletblue:
The Cornelius unicorn has a big deal for mutations, especially with crossbreeds. it isn't abnormal that they die because of a strange mutation. (often mutations like more legs, heads, tails, ...)
unfortunelty, they rarely live with mutiple limps. The gen responsible for survivle with multipule limps, has yet to be found in this breed. (thou that might be solved thanks to the [link](Idian Widow Breed))

The mutations allow the Corneluis Unicorn to survive, even in the hardest area's. A Corneluis Unicorn can 'activate' this mutations, trough they can not control the outcome. A crossbreed can not set an mutation in action, for them, the enviorment that sets the gens into working.

One of the things they can not change, is there body build. A purebred type 1 is always meduim or heavy build. A purebred type 2 is always meduim or light build. however, they are capible of making there body slighty ligher or heavyer.

:bulletblue: ---Age--- :bulletblue:
Cornelius Unicorns can reach an age of 100 years. However, some may only grow to the age of 5. There genetical mutations can make there age alter from 5 to 100 years. they can even age on different ways. some are already old on the age of 10, but live for an other 50 years. Some only start ageing when there are about ready to die.

:bulletblue: ---Magic--- :bulletblue:
All Cornelius unicorns have magic. Their breed specialty: teleportation. They can teleport several objects, items and animals at the same time with themselves. Some work with portals, others with instant teleportation.
Something all Cornelius Unicorns can as well; space manipulation. Meaning they can make rooms/objects/living creatures bigger, or smaller. They can not use this on themselves.
They can have more kinds of magic; runic magic, elemental magic, ect. But not always.

When a purebred or hybrid comes in contact with magic, or practices it own magic frequently, it is possible that they learn other types of magic.
For purebreds (and hyrids alike), it's possible that they learn entirely new magical powers.
In some occasions, it's possible for a hybrid to learn to control it's magic, and shift it's horn colour to match it's personality, grows horns or spinal manes. If this happens, it's possible that the hybrid is considered a pure.

:bulletblue: ---Breeding--- :bulletblue:
U are allowed to cross with any horse, normal, fantasy, ....
You don't need my permission, but be sure that you have the other breed owner's permission.

Females can pass something very special; the possibility to trow up to 6 foals. 6 foals will often give the mare trouble, but 5 tends to work out ok. The mare does not use magic on her own body; the foals use it instinctively. So if you breed with them, the mare might trow a hole bunch of horned unicorns.

In some cases, they will begin to mutate (this goes for crossbreeds and purebreds alike), and ur horse will show traits of all family(example: [link]). Other times, they will be a strange cross (example: [link] and [link]), and sometimes, they will only look like one of there parents (example: [link] ). In some occasions, there will be a horse that doesn't resemble either of there parents, due of mutations.

if you use a system for your stable, there is a way to know how many your foals you will get, thanks to random.org
--1st roll: select between 1-3. Roll.
---if your rolled 1, you get one foal.
---if you rolled 2, roll again: this time between 2-5. What random.org says this time, is your amount of foals.
---If you rolled 3; roll again; this time between 3-6. What random.org says this time, is your amount of foals.

this needs updated a little :} You've got so much information, it'd be better up in the sheet itself, but then that's my opinion, of course :} You're artwork has gotten much better, but the rainbow background makes the words a little hard to read.
harder to steal too...idiots can't copy/paste if its in the deviation itself.
